Fun and Relaxation in Winter in the Pitztal

Winter in a popular ski area

The Pitztal valley has a lot to offer in Winter: snow-covered summits, glaciers and a lot of fun for all sun-lovers and pleasure-seekers.

Ski Area Hochzeiger

The family ski area Hochzeiger scores with its snow reliability combined with an impressive mountain panorama and sun-blessed ski runs, 9 lifts, 54 piste kilometres of all levels of difficulty and a snow park. Kids up to 10 years do not need a skipass if their parents have one. Well-know ski star Benni Raich is an absolute fan of his home  and training ski area.

Ski Area Rifflsee

The family-friendly ski area Rifflsee offers slopes of all levels of difficulty, for beginners or pros. Kids up to 10 years do not need a skipass if their parents have one. The ski area scores with its altitude and snow reliability, and is especially suited for families: Rifflsee offers the world's first childproof chairlift, the Sunna Alm Bahn.

Pitztal Glacier

Thanks to Tyrol's highest glacier, our guests can enjoy skiing from september until May. Connected to the Rifflsee ski area, it offers more than 40 piste kilometres of all levels of difficulty.

Visit Austria's highest "Café 3440" with its free floating terrace. The Wildspitzbahn takes you up to the Hinteren Brunnenkogel, where you can enjoy a cup of cappucino or espresso and a breathtaking view.
